About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

I would like to travel to chine from australia. Do i need to get a transformer.

I will buy some eletrical machine back to australia.. do i need to but transformer too?

A transformer may not be needed, but you'd better take an adaptor for there might be a socket difference.
