Z. Visa for UK national living in Vietnam.

Hi Georgia, it's possible that you can apply for the work Z type here in Vietnam if you have a residence permit there. You can do all the applications here in Ho Chi Min City. You just need to prepare all required documents, including your passport, passport copy, application form, photo, residence permit in Vietnam, and work permit and invitation letter from duly authorized unit, which should be obtained by your employer. Then go to the embassy to submit the documents. It's possible that your degree certificate will be required when applying for the Z type and residence permit when you are in PRC.

The degree certificate should be notarized first by a notary public in UK, and then notarized by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of UK or its designated agencies. Then you can ask your family to take this paper to the PRC embassy or consulate to authenticate. After all this has been done, they can send the documents to you for future use.
