About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying back but only to transit

Hi there,
my plan is to fly into Shanghai from Singapore. I will stay for 2 days and then fly back to Germany. However, my flight will take me through Singapore. Meaning I will fly into Singapore and move on from there to London 3 hours later. Does that work with the 72 hour Visa? I am German. Thanks a lot!

Sorry, the layover in Singapore will make you ineligible for the 72-hour free transit. You can choose a flight flying back to Germany through another country instead of Singapore.
