About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Do we Need Invitation Letter for Toursit Visa

Dear Sir Or Madam,
This is Prasanna from Colombo, wish to travel China for a Tour between 19th to 28th May 2016, is there any requirement of getting any invitation letter from the travel agent or hotel we booked in PRC.

Is it ok, we have submit enough finance support and our tour plan along with our application. I do travel as Backpacker, so its really hard for me to get a letter from a Travel agent to confirm how many days i will stay in which area.

Prasanna, based on what I know, if you want to apply for a tourist L type to PRC, a letter from a local travel agency and an invitation letter from Chinese Tourist Bureau are required. So I’m afraid you have to get these two documents.

Dear, I think it’s the relevant rule. After you make full preparation and provide all the required documents, it may not be that difficult.
