About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London-Beijing-Hong Kong-London - 72 hrs visa free

Hi,
I will be going from London to Beijing transit via 1hr in HK on CX then depart Beijing for HK then to London does this routing qualify for the 72 hr free transit?

YY, I’m afraid you don’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit because according to the 72 hour policy, after transiting in a Chinese city, you should fly to a third country or region, but you fly back to HK. You should apply for a tourist L type in advance.
