About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 or 144 hr visa for Beijing

Dear Team,

Please can you advise me if I am eligible for a 144 hr free transit to Beijing, I am traveling from London Heathrow to Australia and would like to visit Beijing when returning I am a British passport holder. Please can you give me more information.

Amar, the 144 hour free transit policy has not been implemented in Beijing currently, so you can only enjoy the 72-hour free transit there. Under this policy, you should can not stop in any other Chinese cities and the layover period should be not over 72 hours. The country of your departure and arrival should be different.
