About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hr free visa

Flying to Beijing from New York ( 1 stop at Seoul)
Staying Bejing 72 hours with Great Wall tour
Then going to Seoul.
Is this case eligible to use 72hour free transit?

Andy, if so, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing. Because after your stopover in Beijing, you should fly to a third country or region, but you just fly back to Seoul. You should apply for a tourist L type in advance.
