About:China Flight

flights from beijing to xian

I am thinking of flying china eastern from Beijing to Xian and was wondering if this is a reliable on time airline as I have read that many domestic flights in China are delayed or cancelled? Is this true?
Also what is the best transport from Beijing airport to Novotel Beijing Xinqiao for three people? Is taxi best and how much will it cost and how long is the journey?

The flight did got delay or cancelled sometimes, most due to weather issues. If you are not tight in catching a next schedule, it should be OK. You can take the metros (airport express + Line 2) to your hotel or take a taxi. The metros would cost around CNY85 for 3 passengers and taxi would be around CNY100 or 120 based on the traffic etc. Taxi would need around 1 hours for the transfer.
