72h rule with 2 tickets?

Hi, for the 72h rule, can I combine a return ticket Stockholm to Beijing and a return ticket Beijing to Phuket, possibly with different airlines?

Ticket 1: Stockholm -> Beijing (stay 2 days)
Ticket 2: Beijing -> Phuket (stay 2 weeks) -> Beijing (stay 2 days)
Ticket 1: Beijing -> Stockholm

Chris, of course, you can travel with different airlines. Considering your travel route, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing twice by different airlines. Don’t worry!
