About:China Visa Exemption

Flight to Vietnam

Hi, I fly with China Eastern Airlines. From Frankfurt(FRA) to Shanghai PVG, then Shanghai SHA to Kunming (KMG), then to Hanoi (HAN). My stay in PRC is over 24 hours because of long transit time in Kunming too. I am Vietnam Citizen. Can I still fly Visa Free. Should I do extra preparation for the Visum Check in Frankfurt?

If so, I’m afraid you need to apply for a transit G type or tourist L type before your trip. When you take flight in Frankfurt, you need to show your entry permit to PRC.
