inquiry guangzhou tour sept 2016

hi i would like to ask where is the city proper in guangzhou which access the sightseeing places? any suggestion budget or 3 star hotel nearby be staying 2 days and 1 night. i be coming from hongkong there is a tour offer from lowu then going to guangzhou city. what is the best suggestion? how much is the subway and bus fare? which is accessible bus or subway? is there a stored card pass for the transpo? its also difficult to have loose change or coins. thank you.

If you want to stay in the city proper which access the sightseeing places, you are recommended to stay at a hotel in Tianhe District or Yuexiu District. The public bus charges CNY1 to CNY2. As for the subway, the ticket fare is CNY2 for the first four kilometers, the longer the journey the more you pay. You may buy the public transportation card at local stores.
