Visa exemption for transfer at PVG

Hello I would like to ask about what documents do I need for 72 hours visa exemption when I will be travelling from Sydney to Pudong 18 hours stay than via Frankfurt to Poland? I am Polish and I have got an info of only 72 hours instead of 144. I would like to get out of the airport to visit. Please let me know what documents do I need or visa?
Many thanks
Magda

Oh, according to your situation, you can enjoy the 24 hours visa free pollicy because the stopover is just 18 hours.
But you need to apply for the Stay Permit at the airport if you wanna go to downtown area.

Complete the "embarkation/disembarkation card" first, then bring your travel documents, boarding pass for the onward connecting flight and travel itinerary and go to the inspection counter of China Immigration Inspection to apply for the permit. :)
