Can I submit my mother's bank statement with notary public certificate instead of mine?

Hello I would like to visit a chinese classmate, whom I met in the UK while I was doing my post-graduation. She is insisting me sincerely to visit her home and stay with her family. So except my air fare I will not have to pay anything. Now as a tourist or visitor( 5-7 days) do I have to submit my bank statement? If its mandatory then can I submit my mothers bank statement including a Notary Certificate mentioning that she is willing and capable of bearing my expenses if any? I dont have any savings but my mother does with a very healthy amount, so is it possible for China cause I have done this few times for my UK visa. Could you please help me because I have searched each and every corner of the Bangladeshi chinese consulate webpage for supporting documents but there was not a single information about bank statement.

Kind Regards
Khan

Khan, you can submit your mother’s bank statement. Don’t worry! But your mother may need to provide a guarantee letter.
