Will Non-Rev on company airline pass to and from Beijing be allowed to use 72 hr. tourist visa?

Pilot with working permit heading to Beijing for 3 day holiday. Flying on company pass both directions. To get 72 hr. free transit I am required to show proof of return flight to America. Will copy of my return standby listing on my companies flight satisfy customs restrictions for 72 hr. free transit?

You mean you fly to Beijing from America, and after stop in Beijing, you will fly back to America? If yes, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit. You should apply for a tourist L type and in this case, the copy of your return standby ticket is oaky.
