About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hello. As I'm flying via a buddy pass, I will only get a confirmed seat once waiting at the gate for my flight and an available seat has been found, I WILL be listed on the flight to LAX, which will leave 5 hours after my 1st flights gets into PEK. I'm wondering how this will effect my visa on arrival?

Standby is not allowed. You must have a confirmed onward ticket before your departure for China.
