About:China Visa Mail Service

Airline non-rev

I am an airline employee invited to speak in China. I will be traveling non-rev/space-available. Will this be accepted in lieu of proof of round trip tickets?
Also - I live in Minnesota, do I need to appear at the Chinese consulate in person? if so which one and do I need an appointment? Will they process that day - or will I need to return?
Thanks!

You don't have to appear at the Chinese consulate in person as you can find someone else to do that on your behalf.

As an invited speaker to China - is the Visa-F form the correct form?
