About:Huangshan Mountain

Can I go up Huangshan Mountain and down again in one day?

Is it possible to travel up by cable car to see the views and back down again on the same day? If so what does it cost? We will be staying in the mountain.

Yes, one day trip is feasible. I suggest you take Yungu Cable Car (CNY80 for a single trip) onto the top in the morning and hike for sightseeing. After that, hike down in the afternoon. And the entrance fee to the mountain is CNY230 (Mar. 1-Nov.30), CNY150 (Dec. 1 - end of Feb.).
