About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa S1 eligibility for studying and multiple entry

If i take S1 type, Is it eligible to study for me in china by taking resident permit?
Is S1 type eligible for multiple entry?

Hi, Hasotha, if you want to study in PRC, you should apply for an X type. In principle, you cannot study on an S1 type.

The S1 type is generally only for one entry. However, after you enter PRC, you can get a temporary stay permit with it. And the temporary stay permit can be used as a multiple entry permit.

If I get resident permit after entering with type S1, Is that resident permit can be used for study purpose?
