Canada to (Shanghai) India. India to (Shanghai) Tokyo. Tokyo (Shanghai) to Hong Kong.

Good evening everyone
I will have a connecting flight at Shanghai every time I travel from point A to B as stated in the headline. I am a Tibetan Origin. I am wondering if that would pose any issues. Now, I do have visa for country B(India). And the others I do not have any entry permit as it doesn't require me to have one. So, I am wondering, when I reach at the Shanghai airport do I need to go through any procedures or do I head to my designated gate without procedures(such as showing a prove of applications or what not) and whereabouts do I do that and how long does the procedures take?
