Hi I am Australian citizen and will fly from Sydney to Shanghai Pudong airport and stay for 6 days and then from SH to Singapore for 6 days then back to Sydney. Am I eligible for this 144 hour free transit? and if so do i need to go to police station?
Another question, if I fly from Sydney to Singapore first for 6 days and then fly to Shanghai for 6 days, am I eligible for the 144 hour free transit?

Hi Lucy! You are eligible for the 144-hour visa-free policy. If you stay at a hotel, you don't need to go to the police station. If you stay at an apartment of your friend or relative, you should go to the police to register yourself within 24 hours after arrival.

If you fly from Sydney to Singapore, then to Shanghai and back to Sydney, you can also enjoy this free transit policy.
