About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does 72 hour visa free policy work for me?

i am on a cruise in June 2016, visiting Xiamen for 1 day..Cruise then continues to Beijing.
i will be disembarking 9:00 am 24th June and after 2 days touristing departing Beijing at 12:30
26th June.

Ron, it doesn’t work for you because 72 hour policy is only applicable to those traveling by flight. You should apply for a tourist L type or transit G type ahead of your journey.
