can the l visa category be sponsored

If yes, would the applicant need to provide bank statement once the sponsor has stated they will sponsor all costs?What documents would be needed to apply with in the above regards??

Moses, generally speaking, you don't need to provide financial proofs to apply for the L type. However, it's possible that the consular officer will require it. In this case, you should submit the bank statement of the sponsor and a guarantee letter from the person.
