i am travelling in the first week of march to the great wall

I see the in is available to go to the Badaling in the morning, but in the evening I see the train is at 19:30 which is too late, is it true? or is there any other way to come back to city ?Can I cover Ming tombs the same day? if yes would it be better if I can come back to Ming tombs on the way back to the hotel ?

According to my searching result, the last train departs at 21:30 from the wall. You can arrange a one-day trip of the wall and Ming Tombs. There is a bus no.879 running between the two scenic areas. A one-way trip would take around 1h. You can take bus no.872 to get back to the city proper from the Ming Tombs. The last bus departs at 19:00.Have a nice trip!
