About:China Visa Application Requirements

Visa application with transport details and accommodation in and out of China??

Hi I hope you can help me.

I'm heading to PRC via HK. I am an Australian passport holder. I will be applying for my entry permit in HK this Tuesday and hopefully heading in to PRC by the weekend. The application center requires I can prove where I am staying and transport ticket in and out of PRC. However, I am unsure if I will stay the entire 30 days. I only have rough destinations I'd like to go to and would like more flexibility to travel around. If I book a return plane ticket to flying from Shenzhen Bao'an Airport to Guilin with set dates it will cost me more money to change this later but the application center requires this. The same if I book hotel room for set dates. Normal when I travel I arrange flights and accommodation within a week for more flexibility. Is there a way I can do this given that the application center requires specific accommodation bookings and transport in and out of PRC?

Ange, the round trip flight tickets are usually necessary. If you apply from HK, it might not be required.

You can provide some of the hotel reservations. But if it doesn’t work, you can find a travel agency and then get an invitation letter, in this case, the air tickets and hotel booking record are not required.

Hi! I have the same problem, but someone I just met here in Thailand has been to China many times and he says you can go to a travel agent, explain the situation and pre book a ticket, print it out and then cancel it. This will only cost you a small fee.
