can i deposit my US cashier check and send half of amount back home in wire?

Hi i really need advice. Ihave US cashier check more than 500,000 dollar less than 1 millio dollar and i would like to open up chinese bank account and deposit my check into a bank. After i deposit my check i would like to send half of amount back home in wire. Is it possible? Do they accept large amount of check? Money is good money and have no problem. Can Bank of china (for example) accept my check and let me wire half of amount back home? Please guys i really need help
