question about Visa to China

I am from Palestine and study master in Thailand and have a Thai entry eprmit for one year.
I need to go to PRC, yunnan for one week for my field study. The Chinese embassy in Thailand says that I should come back to my country and this is impossible because I need two weeks travelling go and back since i need to go through Jordan, Israel and then to Palestine and very expensive.

What should I do in this case to make it possible?
