Sorry, you are not eligible as the route does not meet relevant requirements.

Hi, Is that because I am flying in and out of Shanghai from Taipei? My full trip will be like this:

LON - DXB (connection) - TPE (arrive Monday) stay 4 nights
TPE - SHA (arrive Friday) stay 1 night
SHA - TPE (arrive Saturday) stay 1 night
TPE - DXB (connection) - LON

I will be using a UK passport. What kind of entry permit will I need?

thanks

Hi, Steve, yes, it's because you are flying in and out of Shanghai from Taipei and this route is not considered as a transit route. You should prepare an L type entry permit in advance.
