About:China Transit Visa

cruise passengers do we need a visa?

Hello! I'm a Filipino citizen and my son is Hungarian. We are schedulde to go on a Cruise that includes Shanghai and Dalian for less than 24 hours and Beijing from 8am until 6pm next day about 32 hours just transiting. We would like to join an excursion in Beijing to great wall of China do we need to obtain L type entry permit prior joining the cruise?
