question about Residence Permit

I recently worked in China and I have a residency permit that is valid until May 9th. I need to go back to China for two weeks, but I no longer work for the company. Is it possible that they may have cancelled the permit or should I still be ok to get in?

Graeme, to a great extent, your residence permit can still be used. Your previous employer may report your situation to the exit and entry administration, but usually, you need to go there to cancel it on your own.

So I should have no problem re-entering the country right?
