About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hi I am flying to Beijing then on to Hong Kong 2 days later, with 48 hours in Beijing

Do I still need to register my 72 hour visa with the police or can my hotel do this? Also I plan on doing some shopping. Am I able to purchase goods, clothes, gifts etc with a 72 hour free transit?

Mike, you don’t need to register by yourself. The hotel will handle the relevant procedures.
You can go shopping with the 72 hour free transit.
