Question about student visa

Good evening

I am a Swiss citizen working in Japan and am holding a Japanese working entry permit. Since my Japanese husband will be transfered to China for a year, I am planning to follow him and apply for a student X type so I can attend a language program at a Chinese university. My company allows employees to take a few years off in such a case, which means I will not lose my working permit in Japan. Do you know whether I can apply for a Chinese student X type while holding a working entry permit in Japan? Thanks in advance!
