About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

International to Domestic Transit at Pudong Airport

I'm going to travel (from Hong Kong - considered international flight, I believe) to PVG then off to Harbin in late Feb. I only have around 2 hours to transfer to the flight. Am I required to pick up my luggage and go through immigration and then check back in for the flight to Harbin? I've read about it somewhere and I just thought it seems super stupid, if that is the case.

Hey, 2h is generally enough for transfer. Don't worry! If you are flying from Hong Kong on China Eastern Airline and will hold the through air ticket to Harbin, there is no need to recheck the luggage. If with other airlines, you have to collect your luggage and recheck it in.

Hey Vicky,
Thanks a lot! Good to hear that, and I'm pretty glad that I've booked the flights with the same airline! :)

Cheers,
Jess
