72 hour free transit confirmation

I am flying from Heathrow to Beijing and staying for 3 nights (within 72 hours) and travelling to Tokyo for 5 nights then onto Hong Kong for 5 nights then travelling back to Heathrow via Beijing (stopover to 2.5 hrs within the airport). Can I go to China on a visa free on this basis. I am a British passport holder

Yes, you can do this trip. For the first time in Beijing, you can enjoy the 72h free transit. For the second time, you can enjoy the 24h free transit. Have a nice trip~!
