About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa - question

I am a uk citizen who will travel to Taiwan in April. Can i then book a flight to China and return to Taiwan in four days under the 144 hour scheme or do i need to apply for a single trip one?

Phil, I’m afraid not. If you want to use the 144 hour free transit, after you stay in Shanghai for four days, you should fly to a third country or region which is different from Taiwan. If you plan to travel by that route, you should apply for an entry permit in advance.
