About:Temple of Heaven

3-Day pre-sailing in Beijing with 89 mom...wheel chair. Suggestions, warnings and tips, please!

Visit with 89 mom...wheel chair access to Great Wall, Tiananmen sq, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven? I realize some of these places may not be accesible with a wheel chair, any suggestions? Mom can walk and at a slow pace climb some stairs but tires easily, so I choose the wheel chair...much easier on everyone! Thanks! BTW we only have three days as we are sailing on a Princess cruise but they do not offer pre-cruise excursions!

Any information and, or tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Well, there are some barrier-free facilities at the major attractions, and in the metro stations. On the first day, you can go to see Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. On the second day, you may go to Badaling Great Wall, which is very beautiful, and equipped with cableway for your mom's convenience. On the last day, you may go to the temple and Wangfujing Street.

It is more convenient if you join a tour. In this way, you can save some time, and take better care of your mom. As I know, TravelChinaGuide, a reliable travel agency, can arrange the tour for you. You can contact them through tourstravelchinaguide.com. Have a nice trip!
