About:Visa Policy of China

I am going from canada to hong kong for 2 days then to Macau to visit my daughter for 5 days

then we are going to Thailand from Macau for 6 days back to macau for 2 days then back to hong kong for return flight to Canada -- Do I need a tourist visa. All my research said no as we are there less than 60 days. What might they be looking for in order to clear immigrations?

Janice, Canadian passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK and Macau for a stay of 90 days and 30 days separately. In this case, you don’t need transit entry permit. Don’t worry. You just need to take enough travel fees, passport and return or onward tickets with you.
