About:China Visa

Overstayed Visa for a second time by one day

I was supposed to leave China today to get my stamp and on the way to the airport this morning the cab I was in got a flat tire, causing me to miss my flight. All flights were booked and I was not able to make it out before midnight. I also overstayed on accident 4 months ago by 2 days. I went to the PSB and signed a paper of apology and everything was fine. I would like to know if I will be blacklisted now, or if I will have to pay a large fine. I am going to the PSB in the morning to talk to them and tell them what happened. After tomorrow when i talk to them, how long will they give me to leave the country and come back, if I am not blacklisted? I tried to buy another ticket for tomorrow, but they are very expensive to purchase the day before the flight and I don't have enough money after buying the ticket for the flight I missed this morning. Any help would be great, thank you.

Lee, don’t worry. I don’t think you will be blacklisted. You can explain everything to the PSB and apologize. The fine won’t be large because the issue is minor and you only overstay for a few days. If you report your situation to the PSB, you will be given an exit pass to leave PRC.
If you don’t have enough money to buy flight ticket, you can try to ask for help from the embassy of USA.
