About:China Visa on Arrival

Can I get a return flight from Hong Kong to Beijing and use the 72 hour transit visa?

If not, what are my options please?

I hold a UK passport and I am currently visiting my partner in Hong Kong, whilst I am here I would like to go to Beijing for 2 nights to see the Great Wall of China.Thank you for your assistance.

So you fly from HK to Beijing, stay for two days and then get back to HK again? If so, you are disqualified because you leave and return to the same city.
