Well, the ferries to Nansha Port depart from HKIA at 11:15 on Thursday and Saturday. The ordinary seat costs CNY 265; the luxury seat costs CNY 350. The trip takes about 50 minutes.

It will be more convenient for you to take a ferry to Lianhuashan Port. The ferries are scheduled at 11:20, 16:00, and 18:30 every day. The trip takes about 100 minutes. The fare is HKD 300 per person. Upon arrival, you can take bus line Pan 148 to the east gate of the district government (Quzhengfu Dongmen). Then, change to bus line Pan 143 to Nanbeitai Village, and walk to Nansha Port. :)

It is only possible to take a ferries from "AIRSIDE" at HKIA

If I am wrong - someone please correct me

Once you clear Immigration and Customs its a 30min train ride to HK - either Kowloon or HK Island. Cost is HK$90-100 one way. The train leaves from the airport itself.

To get to the China ports from HK they leave from "HK City Terminal" in Kowloon (Canton Rd) or from the "Macau Ferry Terminal" on the island

I know there are ferries from HK City Terminal (Kowloon side) to Nansha - I use them regularly but the frequency and times tend to change (and the hotels are not always aware of the latest info) The CKS Website has the timetables.

Warning - the immigration/passport lines at the ferry terminal often are clogged up by hoards of locals being tourists and headed to Macau...... and you have to join that line.
