About:Huangshan Mountain Travel Tips

Is there public transportation (train/bus) from Xi'an to the Yellow Mountains?

Hi
We would like to spend 2 - 3 days in the mountains and then leave for Shanghai. We are on a bit of a budget so what would you recommend to travel here and where to stay? Maybe staying in places where the buses and train stations are accessible would be nice?

1. No direct bus or train can take you to the destination. So you are suggsted to take a train from Xi'an Railway Station and arrive at Hefei Railway Station first. Then take a taxi to get to Hefei South Railway Station and take bullet train to Huangshan North Railway Station. After arriving, you can easily find direct shuttle bus that can take you to the South Gate of the mountain. The bus schedules are from 09:00 to 19:00 at intervals of an hour.

2. For your convenience, you are suggested to stay inside the scenic area because you need to buy the entrance tickets again if you go out. Paiyunlou Hotel is recommended. The price is CNY 500 to 600 per night. It's located nearby West Sea Valley. Hope you like.
