About:Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge)

I want to go to Tiger Leaping Gorge from Lijiang and go to Shangri La after that.

Are there any public bus I can take? Is it easy to find a public bus from the gorge to Shangri La? What is the best and cheapest way to do it? We are 4 people.

Yes! You can take a bus to Hutiaoxia Town (Qiaotou) from Passenger Transport Station at no. 25, Kangzhong Road, Gucheng District. The trip takes about 2-3 hours, and the fare is about CNY 25. Upon arrival, take a taxi to the gorge for about CNY 20-30. After touring around, take a taxi back to Qiantou first, and then take a coach to Shangri-la for about CNY 30-40.
