About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

fly from Beijing to Shanghai, whether 72hour policy applies

Hi I fly from Osaka to Beijing but fly out of Shanghai 48 hours later. Since both cities are on the policy confirming that will not be an issue

Hi there, it's a pity that you can't enjoy this policy because you transit in two cities. Under current rules, you have to enter and leave from a same city if you want to make use of the 72h free transit.

Ahh...that sucks. If we fly to Shanghai from Beijing then fly on that same day back to the us would that count?

Well, if the time is not longer than 24 hours, it's ok. You will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit policy.
