About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

question about the 72 hour transit visa

not sure if the question went through the first time. but my question was I will be travelling to Israel from chicago end of January and wanted to know if I stopped in china on the way to Israel to visit a factory for 4 days would this make me elgible for the 72 hour free entry if come to Beijing but need to visit Lisiwei Industry Zone of Dongguang,Hebei. Your answer would be greatly appreciated.

Dianian, according to the 72 hour policy, you can just stop over in PRC for 72 hours and you are only permitted to transit in one Chinese city. So I’m afraid you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit. You should apply for a transit G type or tourist L type in advance of your trip.
