We disembark at shanghai, can we use the 72 hrs free transit to stay at shanghai for 2 more days?

Dear, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit because the policy is only applicable to passengers taking flights. You should apply for a tourist L type or a transit G type ahead of your trip.
