Australian on Cruise

Hi I will be visiting Shanghai for 1 day and Hong Kong for one day in March 2016. What sort of visa will I require for both locations?

Jennifer, if you go to Shanghai from Australia and then leave for HK within 24 hours, you don’t need to apply for any entry permit because you are eligible for the free transit policy. As for HK, Australian passport holders can enter freely for no more than 90 day stay.
