About:China Transit Visa
I'm US citizen, do I need a visa to fly to beijing then transfer to a train to Mongolia? Thank you!

Vincent, if you stop over in Beijing for less than 24 hours, you don’t need entry permit. But if your layover in Beijing is more than 24 hours, you need to apply for transit G type or tourist L type ahead of time.0
