About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing to Mongolia via Train

Hi Im thinking of traveling to Beijing just to take the train from there to Mongolia, do I need a visa for China? Im a citizen of Chile and Australia. But Im not sure if the 72 hour free transit would. Thanks :)

The 72 hour free transit won’t be applicable to your situation because the 72 hour policy is only applicable to flight travelers.
You may need to apply for an entry permit in advance.
