About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying to Shanghai from US back to US for Business, does he need a visa?

I am flying my boss in to Shanghai for a business meeting, he will stay one, maybe two days (48 hours).

If he´s flying back to the US, he´s not in transit and needs a one for the stay.
