About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

I have a 19 hour layover in Shanghai. Questions about left luggage and suggestions.

Can I leave my luggage at Pudong airport? If so, how much does it cost? Do you know how long it will take to get out of the airport from when I land and if I head to the Bund area? Is there any temporary visa that I have to purchase? (My flight arrives at 5:30pm and I leave the next day at 12:15am.) Any suggestions on what to do? My hostel is located at 17 South Yunnan Road. Thank you!

Sure, you may leave your luggage at the airport. It costs CNY 20 to 50 per piece according to its size within 24 hours. It takes around 1 hour to check out, and another hour to get to the Bund area.

The layover is within 24 hours, so you needn't apply for a visa. Just apply for a 24h visa-free stay permit upon arrival, so that you can leave the airport and head for the downtown area. During your layover, you may go to see the following places: Nanjing Road Pedestrian Road, The Bund, the Huangpu River, and the Oriental Pearl Tower.
