I have 5 month valid on my passport and i want visit china for 5 days

I have 5 months on my malaysian passport and i want to visit PRC for 5 days. I have got all the necessary documents required, are they going to give the visa since less than the require 6 months?

Dear, I’m afraid your application will be refused. You should renew your passport. When applying for PRC entry permit, your passport should be valid for at least six months.
